ISBFS 2015
ISBFS2006
The Second International Symposium on BANACH and FUNCTION SPACES 2006
(ISBFS2006)
will be held at Kyushu Institute of Technology (KIT), Tobata Campus, Kitakyushu, Japan on September 14-17, 2006 with support of KIT,
West Japan Industry and Trade Convention Association,
and the Mathematical Society of Japan.
The main subjects are Banach spaces and function spaces with related topics.
Twelve invited lectures and
around 30 short communications of 20-30 minutes will be planned.
We are also planning to organize a special lecture of 30 minutes
devoted to the memory of the Japanese mathematician Professor Tosio Aoki
at the beginning of the symposium by Professor Lech Maligranda.

Location
The city Kitakyushu is in the north part of the Kyushu Island and has over 1 million inhabitants.
From abroad you can fly to
Tokyo (Tokyo - Narita International Airport or Tokyo - Haneda Airport) or
Osaka (Osaka - Kansai International Airport) or
Nagoya (Nagoya - Central Japan International Airport), and then
to Fukuoka (Fukuoka Airport) or Kitakyushu (New Kitakyushu Airport).
From some countries there are direct flights to Fukuoka or Kitakyushu.
From Fukuoka it is easy to come to Kitakyushu by train or by bus.
From Kansai Airport you can also come to Kitakyushu by train.
In this case you first move by an express train "Haruka" to Shin-Osaka (Shinkansen railway station) and then take a super-express train (Shinkansen) to Kokura (Kitakyushu).
