ISBFS 2015
ISBFS2009 (Sep 14-17, 2009)
The Third International Symposium on BANACH and FUNCTION SPACES 2009
(ISBFS 2009) will be held at Kyushu Institute of Technology (KIT),
Tobata Campus, Kitakyushu, JAPAN on
September 14-17, 2009 with support of KIT,
West Japan Industry and Trade Convention Association
and the Mathematical Society of Japan.
The main subjects are Banach spaces and function spaces with related topics.
There will be plenary lectures of 50 minutes, invited talks of 30 minutes and
contributed talks of 20 minutes.
We are also planning to organize a couple of special lectures of 30-45 minutes
devoted to the memory of the Japanese mathematician Professor Hidegoro Nakano
on the centenary of his birth at the beginning of the Symposium by Professors Tsuyoshi Ando and Lech Maligranda.
The Symposium will start in the morning of September 14 and end in the evening of September 17.

Location
The city Kitakyushu is located in the north part of the Kyushu Island.
From abroad you can fly to Tokyo (Narita International Airport) or
Osaka (Kansai International Airport) or Nagoya (Chubu International Airport),
and then to Fukuoka (Fukuoka Airport) or Kitakyushu (New Kitakyushu Airport).
The New Kitakyushu Airport is the most convenient to get KIT but
there are flights only from Tokyo (Haneda Airport).
From Fukuoka Airport it is easy to get to KIT by train or by bus.
You can find some more informations for the next websites.
